If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use this website and place orders. By using our website, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account and Ordering

When placing an order, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information including your name, shipping address, email address, and payment details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, but errors may occur. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. By submitting your payment information, you authorize Stripe to charge the applicable amount. All transactions are encrypted and handled in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local tax laws.

5. Shipping Policy

We currently ship within the United States only. Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days. Shipping times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.

We offer free standard shipping on all orders totaling $40 or more before tax. Orders under $40 are subject to a flat-rate shipping fee displayed at checkout.

Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns and Refunds

We want you to love your coffee. Our return and refund policy is detailed on our Refund & Return Policy page. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined in that policy.

7. Subscriptions

Cairé Roasters offers recurring subscription plans for select products. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the interval you select (e.g., every two weeks, monthly) until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@caireroasters.com. Cancellations take effect before the next billing cycle. No partial refunds will be issued for the current billing period.

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 14 days' advance notice sent to your email address on file.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, cordel-style illustrations, woodcut artwork, logos, product names, brand identity, photographs, and software, is the property of Cairé Roasters or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from this website without our prior written consent. Limited personal, non-commercial use (such as sharing a product link) is permitted provided you include proper attribution.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Coffee is a natural agricultural product, and minor variations in flavor, color, and aroma between batches are normal and expected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAIRÉ ROASTERS AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR PURCHASE OF OUR PRODUCTS, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE OR ANY PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
